Raging Spoon is a catering operation and café located in the heart of the Queen Street West café and gift boutique district, directed by Ontario Council of Alternative Businesses and operated by psychiatric consumer/survivors. The OCAB is a provincial organization that assists in the development of economic opportunities for people who have been through the mental health system, with an association of businesses that employ over 600 psychiatric survivors in various initiatives across the province. The 125-seat, fully accessible restaurant opened
its doors in September 1997. Located at 761 Queen Street West, it
serves great, healthy food from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. |
